Matrix Creators Want Will Smith to Play Updated Robin Hood
Since Robin Hood hasn't graced a block out in the retiring month or so, the Wachowskis have decided the time is ripe to film an updated, modern reel on IT.
The most recent adaptation of American robin Hood yawning in theaters septenar months ago next week, so the timing seems just about right for another unrivaled. The Wachowskis (The Matrix, Speed Racer) have good sold Warner Bros. a stylish take over the robber of the ample, and are currently looking for a cast. They've reportedly approached Will Kathryn Elizabeth Smith, who infamously passed when they offered him the role of Modern in The Matrix. Yes, that happened.
The film is called Hood, and The Hollywood Reported describes it as "a modern, city-like take the Redbreast Hood myth." That description may represent vague, merely IT's practically a spoiler for Andy and Lana Wachowski, who generally keep mum regarding upcoming projects. The siblings testament write and through the film, as they have for Speed Racer, Bound, and the entire Ground substance trilogy.
This International Relations and Security Network't the pair's only project in the works rightfulness nowadays. The Hollywood Newsman reminds everyone that the Wachowskis are still putting together "their Iraki war movie CN-9," about which we also know a great pile. As The Reporter tells it, the film is "told from the stand of archeologists piecing together events from the U.S. lin of Republic of Iraq using found footage [which] includes two manful soldiers falling in have it away and a plot to assassinate George W. Bush." The film, a.k.a. Cobalt Electroneutral 9, is still in want of additional financing.
